Refund Policy

Last updated 14 August 2026

This policy explains when a purchase can be refunded and how to ask for one.

Digital delivery

Beats and licences are digital goods. The files are delivered as soon as payment clears and cannot be returned or un-downloaded, so a purchase is final once it has been delivered.

That is the starting point, not the whole picture — the cases below are refunded, and nothing in this policy removes a right you have under consumer law where that law applies to you.

When you will be refunded

  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
  • You paid and never received the files, and we cannot get them to you.
  • The files you received are faulty or incomplete and we cannot supply a working replacement.
  • The beat turned out to be unavailable after you paid — for example it had already been sold exclusively.
  • Any case where the law requires a refund.

When you will not be refunded

Once a working file has reached you, these are not grounds for a refund:

  • Changing your mind after the download.
  • Deciding the beat is not right for the project.
  • A release not performing, or being rejected by a platform or distributor.
  • Having already released, distributed or monetised the beat.
  • Buying a licence and later wanting a different one. Contact us and we will see what can be done, but an exchange is not guaranteed.

Custom orders

Custom work is paid in the split shown on the licence — part upfront, the rest before final delivery. The upfront payment reserves the work and covers time already spent, so once production has started it is not refundable.

If you cancel before any work has begun, the upfront payment is returned in full. If we cannot complete a custom order, you are refunded everything you have paid for it.

How to ask for a refund

Email il.beats.ye@gmail.com within 14 days of the purchase, with the email address used to buy, the date, and the beat and licence in question. Say what went wrong.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. How long that takes to appear is up to your bank or card provider.

If a refund is issued

A refunded licence ends on the day the refund is issued. Any use of the beat has to stop, and anything already published using it needs to be taken down.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, contact us first — most problems are quicker to fix directly. Raising a chargeback before getting in touch voids the licence for the beat in question while the claim is open.
